The AI news app that posts · iPhone, iPad, Android, tablets & foldables

Your news, ranked by AI. Your take, on LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky.

Op-Ed is a news aggregator like no other. Pick your industry and topics, add the sources you trust, and every morning AI ranks the stories into one feed built around you. Read, watch live news, then turn any article into a post in your voice — one approve publishes it to every platform you've connected, each version shaped to fit. Nothing goes out until you say so.

How it works

From the news you read to the post you publish — in four steps.

Every screen is the real app.

1

Set up your feed

Tell Op-Ed who you are and how you sound — or import your voice from posts you've already written. Pick your industry and the topics you want to be known for, then add the sources you trust: news sites, blogs, searches and YouTube channels, or start from a ready-made pack for your industry.

  • Profile, industry and topics — set once
  • Your sources, not an algorithm's
  • One official sign-in per platform — LinkedIn X Threads Bluesky

2

Your morning feed

Every morning AI ranks your sources, Google News and live TV against your industry, role and topics into one feed — with a spoken brief if you'd rather listen. Read full articles in the app, skip the paywalls, and know what your industry is talking about before your first meeting. Posting is optional.

  • Ranked for you, freshest first
  • Built-in reader, paywalled pages filtered out
  • A nudge when it's ready

Turn a story into a post

Spotted something worth your take? One tap and Opee drafts a post in your voice — or a repost with your comment on top. Or open Make a post and start from a link or your own idea: it walks you through the source, the images, the text, the links and the platforms, one step at a time. Stuck for an angle? Ask Opee to interview you, or say your week's plan out loud.

  • You choose the story — every time
  • AI draft in your voice, or repost with your comment
  • From a story, a link or your own idea — step by step
  • Ask Opee, Dictate your plan and Interview me when you'd rather talk

Approve and publish

Sharpen the take, edit the wording, ask for a rewrite, or drop it. You see each version exactly as it will appear — the LinkedIn post, X in 280 characters, Threads and Bluesky in theirs — and nothing goes out until you approve: post one, post all, publish now or schedule it.

  • Rewrite, polish or add an image
  • One approve for every platform you picked — or post them one at a time
  • Published through each platform's official API, now or on schedule
  • Every approval teaches it what you like

Your morning feed

Start every day already up to date.

Posting is only half of Op-Ed. The other half is a news aggregator built around you — one scroll each morning and you know what your industry is talking about, with a brief Opee can read to you — and the world's news channels live, a tap away.

Ranked for you, not the crowd

Your feed is built from your sources and scored by AI against your topics and role — the most relevant story sits at the top, every day. No engagement algorithm, no doomscrolling.

Read without leaving the app

Tap any story to read the full article in the built-in reader. Paywalled pages are filtered out before you waste a tap, and a fresh feed arrives each morning with a nudge.

From reading to posting in one tap

Spotted a story worth a take? One tap and Op-Ed turns it into a working draft — with the article linked — for you to sharpen into your own take before it goes anywhere: LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, or all four. Start the discussion while the story is still fresh.

Try it now — no sign-up

See today's feed for your topics.

Type your role and up to three topics. Op-Ed scans the news right now and ranks the stories the way the app does each morning. Real headlines, real time.

Your topics are sent to Google News as a search; nothing is stored.

You stay in control. Always.

AI does the legwork, you make the point. Opee researches the story and writes the first draft; Op-Ed is built on one rule — every post is your voice and your take, and nothing reaches LinkedIn, X, Threads or Bluesky until you've shaped it and approved it.

  • Edit a draft to make it yours — or approve it as it is.
  • Reject it and a fresh draft is written straight away.
  • Post now, schedule it, or let it go. Your feed, your call.
  • Everything you've published, in one place.

Corrections. AI gets things wrong — a date, a name, a nuance. That's why every draft waits for you: reject it and a new one is written; change a line and your edit stands. Nothing runs until you've read it.

Meet Opee

Meet Opee. Your AI assistant — never your voice.

Opee reads everything, finds the stories worth your name, drafts in your voice and asks before anything is published. Talk to her like a colleague: she answers out loud, researches on the web when you ask, and puts your plan on the calendar.

Opee Your AI assistant Your researcher and editor: finds the story worth your name, drafts it in your voice, and never posts without you.
You decide what goes out. I find the story, draft it in your voice and ask before anything is published.

Everything Opee writes waits for your approval. She has no publish button — only you do.

  • Talk to Opee NewAsk is a hands-free conversation with Opee. Say it as you would across a desk — “a repost on Monday the 5th and a carousel every Friday in October”, “open Sky News”, “what's in the archive about AI?”, “find me an article on AI regulation” — and she answers out loud, searches the web when you ask her to find something, reads back anything that would touch your calendar, and waits for your yes. On Pro.
  • Dictate your planOn the Schedule page, say the days and what goes on each. Opee reads the plan back, puts it on the calendar, and each draft is waiting for you on the morning. On Plus and Pro.
  • Interview meDon't know what to post? Four questions, one post in your voice. Type the answers or talk it through — Opee asks each question aloud and writes it up the way you'd say it.
  • Plan my week & the weekly reviewA draft for each posting day, read from your schedule and your sources — then, each week, what you published and which topic to pick up next to keep your feed balanced. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
Under the hood

Five AI models from three frontier labs — each on the job it does best.

Op-Ed doesn't run on one model. Anthropic's Claude writes and ranks, OpenAI's and Google's image models paint — and every one of them hands the final word to you.

Anthropic3 Claude models
  • Claude Sonnet 5Writes your drafts on Plus, Pro and Team — the post, the repost comment, the rewrite, the polish of your own words.
  • Claude Sonnet 5.5Ranks every new story against your industry, role and topics each morning, and does Opee's web research when you ask her to find something.
  • Claude Haiku 5.5Writes on the free trial, shapes the X, Threads and Bluesky versions of each post, and handles Opee's quick replies.
OpenAI1 model
  • GPT Image 2Paints the picture on your post, and your wallpapers — on every plan.
Google1 model
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash ImageThe alternative image engine you can choose on Pro, and the stand-in on Plus and Pro when OpenAI is down.

What runs today, October 2026 — we move to newer versions as the labs ship them. None of these models can publish: every word and every picture waits for your approve.

Why Op-Ed

A news app like no other.

Built for your phone — and your desk

No browser dashboard, ever. Set up your feed, read it, approve and publish from your phone in the gaps of the day; open it on an iPad, a tablet or an unfolded phone and it spreads into two columns.

Five models, three frontier labs

Claude Sonnet 5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 write, rank and research; OpenAI's GPT Image 2 and Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Image paint the pictures. Each model on the job it does best, tuned to sound like you rather than a bot — and none of them can publish. What runs where.

Read first. Post when it's worth it.

Catch up on your industry over breakfast or on the commute: the news, ranked into a feed you can simply read. Post only when a story deserves your take.

Official APIs only

One of the very few tools that connect only through official APIs — LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky, each with its own sign-in — no scraping, no browser bots, no password sharing, none of the unofficial automation that puts accounts at risk.

How it compares

Op-Ed vs the six best-known LinkedIn tools — and the only one that also posts to X, Threads and Bluesky.

Most AI posting tools are desktop dashboards built for people who want to do more LinkedIn work, and they stop at LinkedIn. Op-Ed is built for people who want the presence without the second job: your news, your take, one approve for LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky — and it starts with 14 days free, with Plus at $14.99 where AI-writing tiers at the big desktop suites start at $39 to $69. Tap the i next to a name for where each tool falls short.

Tools marked ⚠ collect them through a Chrome extension that reads your logged-in LinkedIn session, outside the official API. LinkedIn's User Agreement and Prohibited Software policy prohibit third-party software that scrapes or automates the site; tools that rely on browser extensions operate in that grey area. The alternatives

Four ways to stay visible on LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky.

Only one of them fits into a life that's already full.

Option 1

Do it yourself

4–6 hrs/week, when it happens

Read the news, find an angle, write, rewrite, remember to post. Great in week one. By week three, life wins and your profiles go quiet.

Option 2

Hire a ghostwriter

$1,000 to $2,000/month for 8–10 posts

Someone else's read of your voice, briefed on a monthly call. Good ones are booked; the rest sound like everyone else's ghostwriter.

Option 3

A desktop dashboard

$39 to $69/month for AI writing at the big desktop suites

Another browser tab to babysit, a viral-post library instead of your industry's news, and a Chrome extension reading your LinkedIn session for analytics.

Option 4

Op-Ed

$14.99 to $19.99/month, on your phone

Your industry briefed every morning; pick the story that deserves your take and shape the post with AI, in the gaps of your day. One approve for LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky — official APIs only.

Security and privacy

Shield emblem representing official API access

Official APIs only

Op-Ed publishes through the official developer platforms of LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky, each with your own sign-in and authorisation. No scraping, no automation of any site, no shared passwords.

Encrypted at rest

Your LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky tokens are encrypted on our servers and used for one purpose only: publishing the posts you have explicitly approved.

Transparent about AI

Drafts are AI-written and clearly presented as drafts. A human — you — reviews and approves every post before it is published. That's not a setting; it's the product.

Your data, your account

Delete your account and its data at any time, straight from the app's settings. Your data is never sold, and it is shared only with the services that help us run Op-Ed.

Early readers

What early readers say.

Op-Ed is in early access, read every morning by its first users. As their notes come in, the best of them run here — unedited, with their say-so.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will Op-Ed post without my permission?

Never. Every draft waits in your review inbox until you approve it. If you do nothing, nothing is published.

Will the posts sound like me?

Yes — that's the point. You describe your persona, tone and topics, and every draft is written to match. You can also edit any draft before approving it, and reject drafts to get an instant rewrite.

What sources can I use?

Any RSS feed, keyword-based news searches, and YouTube channels. Add the publications and creators you already follow, and Op-Ed ranks their stories into your daily briefing — any one of them becomes a post in a tap.

Can I use Op-Ed just to keep up with industry news?

Absolutely — Op-Ed is a news aggregator first. Every morning your sources are ranked by AI against your industry, topics and role into one feed, older stories file into the Archives, and live news channels play a tap away — you can read and watch without posting a thing. Many people start there; when a story deserves a take, a draft is one tap away, ready for you to make your own.

Who is Opee?

Opee is the AI assistant inside the app — one assistant, with her own page. She reads your briefing, researches on the web, drafts in your voice, interviews you when you don't know what to post, plans your posting week and reviews it. You can also just talk to her: Ask is a hands-free conversation — “a repost on Monday the 5th and a carousel every Friday in October”, “open Sky News”, “what's in the archive about AI?” — and Opee answers out loud and reads back anything that would change your calendar before it's saved. She has no publish button: everything she writes waits for your approval. Meet Opee.

Does it work on iPad, Android tablets and foldable phones?

Yes. Op-Ed is one native app for iPhone and iPad from the App Store, and one for Android phones, tablets and foldables (Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Z Fold, Pixel Fold) from Google Play. Held upright it lays out like a phone; turn a tablet or an open foldable sideways and it opens into two columns — the front page or calendar on the left, the story or Opee's page on the right..

Which platforms can I post to?

LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky. Your LinkedIn post is the master; Opee shapes a version for each of the others within its limits — 280 characters on X, 500 on Threads, 300 on Bluesky — and the last page of Make a post shows every version side by side. Post one, post all, or re-edit; each version waits for your approval, and a platform you haven't connected is simply left out.

How do the LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky connections work?
  • LinkedIn
  • X
  • Threads
  • Bluesky

Each one is that platform's own official sign-in (OAuth) — the same secure flow used by any reputable app. Op-Ed never sees a password. You connect the platforms you want under Connections in the You tab and can disconnect any of them at any time. LinkedIn connections last around 60 days, and the app reminds you a week before it's time to reconnect with two taps.

Does Op-Ed write posts on its own?

Only when you've asked it to, and never past your desk. Every post starts with you choosing a story from your briefing, or with a plan you've set — pick your posting days on the Schedule page, or tell Opee the plan out loud — and she drafts it in your voice, or sets up a repost with your comment. You shape it from there: rewrite, tighten, add an image, publish. Drafts wait for your approval; nothing is ever published without it. Post as often or as rarely as you like; the briefing arrives every morning regardless.

How much does Op-Ed cost?

Op-Ed is free for 14 days, no card needed: 3 published posts, 3 sources and 3 topics, and a daily briefing of your top 7 industry stories. When the trial ends your daily brief, live news and post history stay free; to keep writing with the AI you choose a plan. Plus is $14.99/month ($149.99/year) with 10 posts a month, unlimited sources and topics and the full daily briefing. Pro is $19.99/month ($199.99/year) with unlimited posts. Team is $74.99/month ($749.99/year) for five Pro seats. Choose Plus within a week of your trial ending and it is half price for the first three months. Prices are in USD; the App Store or Google Play shows the exact price in your local currency before you pay.

How does billing work? Can I cancel?

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel — which you can do any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, no questions asked. The 14-day trial needs no card. Your monthly post allowance resets on your billing date each month.

Is this allowed under LinkedIn's, X's, Threads' and Bluesky's terms?

Yes. Op-Ed publishes only through each platform's official API — LinkedIn's, X's, Threads' and Bluesky's — with your own sign-in and authorisation, and every post is human-approved before it goes out. There is no scraping, no browser automation and no password sharing, which is what the platforms' rules act against.

Will LinkedIn, X, Threads or Bluesky penalise AI-assisted posts?

None of the four prohibits AI-assisted writing; what their policies act against is unofficial automation of the site — the browser extensions, bots and scrapers that Op-Ed deliberately doesn't use. Every feed rewards posts people actually read and reply to, and what LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies and the others' rules ask for is authentic content that's genuinely yours — which is exactly how Op-Ed works: the take, the voice and the final word are yours, the AI does the legwork.

Do I need to be a good writer?

You need a point of view, not a portfolio. Op-Ed brings the research and a first draft in your voice; you decide what you think and sharpen the wording. If you'd rather write from scratch, one tap polishes your grammar and flow without changing your message.

Why no analytics?

Because LinkedIn's official API doesn't give third-party apps access to your personal-profile analytics. The tools that show them collect the numbers through a Chrome extension that reads your logged-in LinkedIn session, outside the official API — the kind of automation LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits. We'd rather not operate there, on LinkedIn or anywhere else: the app links you straight to each platform's own analytics page instead.

Who is Op-Ed not for?

If you want engagement automation, auto-DMs, lead scraping or to manage ten client accounts from one dashboard, a desktop tool like Taplio will suit you better. Op-Ed is for one person — busy, with real expertise — who wants to stay informed and stay visible without LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky becoming a second job.

More direct answers — is AI-assisted posting allowed on LinkedIn, X, Threads and Bluesky, does Op-Ed post automatically, which five models it uses — on Questions people ask.
